I am a 20 year old female, born on the 14th February 1988, making me an Aquarian and born in the Year of the Rabbit. I am originally from Tasmania, but currently reside in Melbourne, Australia. I have an older sister and a younger brother. I have been with my partner, Michael, for 4.5 years and we have been engaged since 1/1/2007. I love wearing jeans - they're my favourite item of clothing. If you ever need to get in my good books, chocolate and cheesecake works well. I identify as Pagan, specifically Wiccan, and have for around nine years. I have ten piercings, two tattoos and I hope for more of the latter soon.

What the fuck is wrong with me?! I’m totally screwing up the entire point of even having a blog, and that’s USING IT! I guess I’ve kind of been like “I’ll blog when I have something to talk about”, without realising that I do have stuff to talk about, I just don’t realise it because I’m the one living my life and I forget that others may (or may not) be interested in it and that they don’t always know what’s going on in my end of the street.

Okay so it’s been like a month since I last blogged - in fact, exactly a month - and yes, despite what I usually say, things have been happening. On the 26th August, Alisha (my older sister) and I went to Voodoo Ink in St. Kilda and got matching tattoos (my second, her first). We got them on our right ankles - it says ‘Jie Mei’, which is ’sisters’ in Chinese (click ‘more’ to see pictures!):

While on the subject of tatts, here’s my first tattoo at three weeks old:

It’s looking fantastic, I think! I love them both, so happy.

One thing I didn’t mention was back on the 4th August we went to see my favourite band, OK Go (yeah, the guys on the treadmill in their video clip) play at the HiFi Bar & Ballroom in the Melbourne CBD. IT FUCKING ROCKED!!! I had sooooo much fun and the guys from the band were so hilarious and very talented. It was such a fantastic night and I loved every second of it. If you get the opportunity to see them, GO! Even if you don’t know about them or haven’t heard much of their music, GO! It was freakin’ awesome, I loved it, I loved it, I loved it!!! I came out of the bar on such a high I didn’t know what to do with myself.

Anyway, I think that’s enough babbling for now - look out for me next time, hopefully there won’t be too long a wait.
