I am a 20 year old female, born on the 14th February 1988, making me an Aquarian and born in the Year of the Rabbit. I am originally from Tasmania, but currently reside in Melbourne, Australia. I have an older sister and a younger brother. I have been with my partner, Michael, for 4.5 years and we have been engaged since 1/1/2007. I love wearing jeans - they're my favourite item of clothing. If you ever need to get in my good books, chocolate and cheesecake works well. I identify as Pagan, specifically Wiccan, and have for around nine years. I have ten piercings, two tattoos and I hope for more of the latter soon.

From Worst to Best…

So today’s my birthday, and for the last two nights I’ve been crying my eyes out and been upset because my 19th birthday wouldn’t be spent with my family and friends. Michael tried consoling me by telling me he had plans for my birthday but nothing would work because I just wanted to be with my mum, dad and little brother, as that’s all I’d really known before.

So anyway, I was pretty much down in the dumps all day - spending my birthday alone, Michael was at work, and with only Dr. Phil, Oprah and Judge Judy to console me, I felt pretty shitty.

Then, at about 5pm, there was a knock at the door. I went to answer it, kind of freaked out because I thought it was some bible-basher or something. I looked through the peephole and - oh em gee - it was my mum.

I opened the door and almost screamed - then my brother peered his head around the door. I burst into freakin’ tears - such a surprise! Dad couldn’t make it because he had a Police Academy dinner thing on, which was unfortunate, but it was so nice to see that they truely cared enough to come and see me for my birthday. I couldn’t believe it - they flew all the way from Tasmania to Melbourne just to be with me on my birthday. It was so sweet and I’m so happy they could be here.

Then, to make things even better, Michael came home with a bunch of red roses for me, for Valentine’s Day (my birthday, same day). It was so sweet (even though he does it every year - aww). Then he cooked me and the whole family (8 people in total) dinner.

So tomorrow is a big day of shopping with my mumma. I’m getting my computer too, so that should be fun, getting that all put together. I can’t wait! Not to mention it’s my sister’s birthday tomorrow too - she has to work, though, which sucks, but I’ll catch up with her on the weekend.
